NeuroSky shows off MyndPlay, we control movies with our brainwaves

Would you pay $ 100 to control the outcome of a film with the power of your mind? That's what Triet NeuroSky and laboratories are based on MyndPlay. In other words, use $ 99 Mindwave NeuroSky headset with a custom video player that monitors your mental activity at the critical points of specially designed films, and offers multiple outcomes depending on their level of discussion and relaxation. For example, Paranormal Mynd (above), you play an exorcist who must ward off an evil spirit - if not addressed carefully, this woman is going to drown. Another gangster film has been dodging bullets and multiple sporting purposes, depending on how relaxed and focused you are, you could start cleaning, take a shot in the head, or dodge the strike and bad shot his friend to death in the place. MyndPlay plans to produce a series of short-form content from $ 0.49 to $ 1.

99 per cycle, and in addition you can record and distribute them, the sequences with the scripting tool to be released next month called MyndPlay Pro

Mynd Paranormal gave evidence at GDC 2011, and went a little impressed - it certainly can control the outcome of a scene, but it works well as expected. Since the NeuroSky technology is still limited to the detection of mental states of concentration and relaxation, you can not "be" the movie to go in the direction you want with your thoughts - in fact, think of nothing more than that see on the screen seems to register as a form of entertainment, and lowered our scores. Instead, the ticket to success seemed to focus intensely on image processing and cleaning the screen of your mind any thought or emotion that makes us feel pretty brain dead as we the ACED scene. If this type of zombification sounds fun, see a couple of teaser video after the jump!
