It's Apple's 'post-PC' world -- we're all just living in it

On Wednesday, Apple introduced the world to the IPAD 2. Nice device, to be sure. Feature-rich? You bet. Soon to sell like hotcakes? Of course. But the introduction of an iteration of an existing product was not the most remarkable part of the case or the surprise appearance of Steve Jobs. No, Wednesday's event was important because it introduced the world to the real vision of Apple in the foreseeable future, a topic suggested by the company, but never fully expressed. This week, Apple has shown the world where he went, he challenged the competitors in this direction, and said the company has not only left its mark in this space, but it is defined.

This week, Apple entered the "post-PC computing - and no turning back, at least not for the people of Cupertino.

By adhering to the vision of the company continues to "other" type of calculation with a sound clip of the song marketing environment is, Apple has changed the rules, and make efforts not only competition an uphill battle, but - at least in the eyes of Steve Jobs and co. - Mainly theory. But what exactly is "post-PC" world? And why is it important? Let me explain.

In this new world, Apple will no longer have to compete with the specifications and features, does not want. It is not a PC vs. Mac here - just a "future" against "the past". It is not a debate monitors, memory, wireless options - is a discussion on the quality of experience. Apple is not only a kind of shunning the debate in favor of a different conversation - making them useless for the earlier discussions. It would be like trying to compare a race car is a very satisfying book. Experience post-PC world of work is an essential and important first of all. It is not a memory or CPU speed, screen resolution, or the number of ports, which determine whether a product is valuable, it becomes almost the device user experience.

This means that while Motorola and Verizon spend millions of dollars of advertising options Xoom 4G upgrade, processor speed and high resolution cameras that require consumers to do their pleasure and Apple say that the specifications and speed and field of a dinosaur called PC. Apple is not winning the space race - it is ceding space for competition.

But guess who earth all to themselves? Apple does not say that it beats the other tablets on the market. He said: "We do one thing and these guys are doing something completely different." They are not competitive - they are not even playing the same game!

This does not mean that Apple has abandoned the PC, and in fact sales of the laptop companies have always exceeded expectations. But look what creeping around the corner. It's a lion, the IOS-like interface, simplified experience. If Apple gets its way, and if the sale of its mobile devices as they have so far ahead, the post-PC devices suitable for the prospects that look alarmingly like ... PC.
